Lucy Taylor Soprano
Lucy began singing when she joined Salisbury Cathedral Choir. She then became a music scholar at St Swithun’s School, Winchester, and joined Winchester Cathedral Choir, where she was Head Chorister in her final year. Lucy also reached the finals of BBC Radio 2’s Young Chorister of the Year. After singing with Winchester Cathedral Chamber Choir, RSCM Millennium Youth Choir and the Rodolfus Choir, Lucy taught music to underprivileged children in Auckland, New Zealand and was a choral scholar at Christ Church, Greenwich, CT. Currently at Cambridge University reading Education with Music, Lucy now sings with Trinity College Choir. Recent solo engagements include Faure's Requiem, Handel's Messiah and Schumann's Frauenliebe und -leben. Recent group performances include Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, and Bach's Christmas Oratorio in St John's Smith Square with Trinity College Choir and the OAE. Alongside singing, Lucy plays the piano and harp and has a great passion for cooking.
