Jonathan Pacey bass
Having started his singing life as a chorister in Winchester Cathedral, Jonathan is now a choral scholar at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he reads Music. After Winchester, he gained a music scholarship to Charterhouse, where he was head of the school choir. He then took a gap year which he spent as a choral scholar at Hereford Cathedral. During his time there he took part in The Three Choirs' Festival, as well as regular engagements with the other scholars outside the choir stalls. Having attended the Eton Choral courses three times, he gained a place in the Rodolfus Choir and performed the solo in Cornelius' Three Kings on BBC Radio 3 live during the Epiphany Sequence. He still regularly sings with the Lay Clerks at Winchester Cathedral, amongst his commitments at Trinity. As a soloist, Jonathan has performed Bach's Christmas Oratorio in St John's, Leatherhead, and the UK premiere of an operetta by Erics Ešenvalds. He also sang solos in Bach's St John Passion, and Mozart's Requiem. He also sings regularly with the Trinity College Music Society, which he also conducts occasionally.
